    I saw it awhile back, but it is pretty cool. I have some siblings I want to put in the game and I need to make their mom still and test genetics out fully and how it passes it on. I also have different twins, etc...

    Honestly, I really love the genetics tool. Obviously I haven't done any parent to child or vice versa genetics because of the demo's limitations, but the sibling to sibling genetics are great.

    I made my simself just for the heck of it and after a few times of clicking the "randomize brother/sister" button I got sims that looks so much like my siblings that the only things I really had to change were the bodies, hair, and clothing.

    Ivory Owl, not everyone checks the new information thread. New topics are MOST welcome and help bring new visitors to the site. They also help people find new content that may be buried within another thread they've not looked at yet.

    We're a positive forum, posting new threads is encouraged so let's all please try and keep things positive!!

    As for the rating system, I am going to have to remove it completely if people continue to get upset. It's not something to be taken seriously. Every time someone leaves or receives a rating they don't like they start to get upset, start an argument and inevitably leave the forum. All because they think they're being bullied lol. We had one new member join a few months back, and someone trolling gave her a 'dumb' rating on her first post... immediately after she kicked off on the shoutbox and contacted me asking me to delete her account because she was being bullied and didn't want to be on the site anymore. (A bit of an over reaction I know) but do understand some people are sensitive to ratings.

    Anyhow all good the both of you :) @Featherriot keep up the good work, posting new threads is good. And Ivory, inevitably things may be posted twice at times but it's not a disaster :) both of you had good intentions so there's no need to get into an argument, you're both valued members of this community :) lets avert this argument guys and girls, it's nothing to get worked up over whatsoever. I've removed your posts because I don't feel they'll contribute positively to the site... and may stir up tensions the more you see them.

    My job is to keep things running smoothly and avert any major disagreements :p you guys don't make it easy. (you guys meaning the entire community)

    The rating system doesn't have to go but those negative reps should be tweaked or removed. If its a positive forum we want then having something that fosters these kind of "incidents" and negative reactions will not help... not to mention its a perfect tool for trolls and haters to exploit.

    I have a policy that I use on YTube's videos - It has to be exceptionally good for me to consider rating it up, likewise it has to be shockingly bad for me to rate it down. I couldn't careless either way about the rest. Just have to do the same here. Wish more people would do the same though.

    to be fair Pierre should have posted a new thread for it. I'm a great believer of posting new content/news in it's own thread meriting its own discussion. Rather than within one jumbo thread. :)

    And agreed, with regards to the rating system. It will be tweaked shortly :)
