Part 5:What Lied Under the sand
in part 4 we left off with Alicia and her family going scuba diving and Sirena mysteriously disappearing, but when Alicia finds something in a cave in the sand she decides to bring it back up and examine it.
As Alicia surfaced her head perked up out of the water, she quickly removed her mask enough so that she could take a deep breath of air. Her tanks were nearly depleted, so she headed towards the houseboat.
She and her family had found many things during the day, but Alicia wanted to look at her most recent find, so she crawled up on the diving deck and begin to examine the shiny clump of coral she found on the bottom of the cave. She pulled her gear off, and ran inside to her brothers room.
Her brother was the house genius, and he had microscopes and telescopes and all these
other scientific gadgets lying around, but she only needed to use the precious gemstone cleaning solution.
So she put the shiny clump of coral inside a bowl and squirted the solution on it. The clump begin to bubble and fizzle away.
She was watching it through the magnifying glass waiting with excited anticipation to see what was under all that coral.
As it worked its magic on the shiny clump she started to notice bits of ruby's and emeralds, strands of gold begin to peek out. She watched intently as it cleaned itself. When the treasure; encased by the watery cage finally gave way, there in the middle of the bubbling and fizzling clump was a bracelet. It looked like a pirates treasure; it was solid gold, with tiny little emeralds and ruby's. As she looked at it she realized she had seen something like this before. She puzzled on it for a few minutes trying to remember where she had seen this design, and then it hit her. This bracelet reminded her of Sirena's necklace. It was made of the same gold and the ruby's looked identical to the Dolphin's eyes, even the design looked the same. She decided she was going to have to get a second look at Sirena's necklace, but how would she do that without Sirena?
