Story Progression ?

What Are You Guys Takes on Story Progression? Do You Feel It Needs to Be Expanded or Does It Need to Go Away? ​

They should have it where Sims can randomly come over to your house if they are friends or make sims that have chemistry with you ask you out on a date or try a flirty move on you. I also think autonomous marriage and break ups and such shouldn't be automated but go along with free will. Like if a sim gets the want to slap a sim and they do it autonomously, the relationship will go down

I agree with what you are saying, cause if they can start dating at their will, why not marriage and break ups on their own as well . Hopefully they can have kids on their own since woohoo'n has became a skill

Must have story progression! Going back to the old school Sims where you leave the house at 9:00 and arrive back at 9:01, would not be good. I like Sims in other houses aging at the same rate, instead of moving out and visiting my Sim parents as an elderly, and they're still younger than my Sim!

Story Progression does need to be tweaked in TS3. I use Nraas for that. It would be nice not to have to rely on a mod to do this in the Sims 4.

As for the sims 4 I have given story progression a lot of thought and I think it would be best if they went about in this kind of style. Before opening up the world/neighborhood they simply ask you if you want story progression or no and then it can configure the details out for you while it loads up the town. I think this is best, because there are many people who love it and there are many people who dislike it. Being the control freak I am I am personally not a big fan of story progression, but I can understand for those who like it and still want it.

Actually this was one of the main reason I did not buy the sims 3. I did not like this feature and even though yes you could turn it off. It still did not make it great for those who hated it because when you switched families it would change the wishes and all that stuff...or at least that is what I heard. So I think setting up to where you can choose before you go into the town is a really good option.

Why wouldn't you like story progression? Having your family dying while everyone else lives?

I am a control freak. Some of us just like to be able to control all the families and age them ourselves and do the things ourselves. I generally like to play more than one family at a time and then age those families together. Different perspective on playing is all
