If you have questions about the demo, please post them here. I will do my best to answer them and I will answer them in the OP. If others want to chime in, I will also include their answers in the OP. Please read the OP before asking your question because maybe your question will be answered.

    Some sample questions and answers:

What life stages can we create?
The only life stage available is young adult.

Does the demo contain all the clothing, hair, and accessories that will be in the base game?
No, there are only a few options in each category in the demo. When I get the game, I plan on changing how the Sims look using more options available.

Are clothing items restricted to categories like in The Sims 3?
No, clothing are not restricted to categories. Outfits appear in their suggested categories but the player can use any clothing item with any category by removing the filters.

Can you set hair and makeup per outfit?
    Yes.

What clothing categories are available in CAS?
The main categories are everyday, formal, athletic, sleepwear, and party.

Can you change the colors of the roots, tips, highlights and main part of hair individually or not?
No, the hair styles that include multiple colors do not have individual parts that can be edited..

    Short answer: No.

Long answer: There's only 2-3 special female hairstyles with highlights in the CAS demo. The natural color you pick for your hair will also come with pre-made highlight colors. For example: Black hair will have hot pink and blue highlights, blonde hair will have baby pink and soft green highligts, etc.

Lets hope TS5 doesn't have all the restrictions TS4 has.

    Question:
Is it true that we'll be able to buy our own clothing in shops, just like in S2? Or is it like S3 where you'll gain access to every attire and accessory from your wardrobe?

You'll have to buy clothes. Each clothing item has its own price tag. The only clothes your sim has access to are the outfits that you choose in CAS (personally I'll use up the maximum amount of outfits for sleeping, exercise, everyday, party etc.).

    Yes! I'm happy for this!
This was one of the things that I missed in S3, glad to see it back. :)

Where did you get this information? SimGuruSarah reported that there was no clothing shopping in the game.

I believe that's what he said... The only difference is that you "unlock them" in other ways, instead of buying. Every possible attire and accessory will be available in the CAS but you're only going to keep the ones you choose for your Sim. Everything else beyond that point must be "unlocked" in-game. It basically means it won't be like TS3 where all you have to do is open your wardrobe to instantly gain access to ALL the clothing.

I think you are mistaken. The system is just like what we have in The Sims 3.
