Sims 3 UPDATES UHG!

ok well we all probley remember how sims 2 and sims 1 worked we could just install an ep and move on with the sims lives well sims 3 changed that bye making you "HAVE TO UPDATE" your game in order to get anything (Eps,Sps,CC and store items) which i personally think sucks because my computers just getting back up and my sims 3 "UPDATE" only gets to like 30% and it locks up my comp and goes ka-putt now im on my old computer right now. when i first created my account i was on my Sisters computer which is an intel and doesnt have the right video card -.- so sims 3 is ka putt as well which is why i didnt post photos of the sirene family yet but i think it would be nice if sims 4 didnt have updates like sims 3 does... so if youve managed to read through all my blabbing im done blabbing so thank you for reading

I think it is convenient in case there is something wrong with the game, or when new expansions come out and you don't get the expansion you still get some of the features. However you have to have a decent computer. I take care of my computer and have never had a problem with updates. They do take a while to update but no glitches or crashes have come from updating my game.

i actually do take care of my computer its just that everyone is always on it downloading either pictures or other stuff and ive been fixing it up i got it a new Graphics card and a new 1 TB hardrive but its still slow the highest i got the update was 31%%

Since it's shared you need to do a thorough deep clean of everything including everyone elses things, make sure they are there when you do. I did with my brother's shared computer and it has a fourth of a terabyte memory plus bare minimum graphics card, and it can handle sims 3. My computer has half a terabyte and I am the only one who is on it with medium graphics card and since I took nearly all my custom content off it has been working fine. (I'm just suffering without my content.)

My computer has a hard time running TS3 at times, but I have never had any issues with installing updates. I think it may unfortunately be a problem with your computer
