PLAYING THE GAME BUT GAME EXITING WHEN TRANSFERRING TEEN INTO ANOTHER HOUSEHOLD? HELP

i been playing my game until now-I was fine. But now the game whenever I try to move one boy sim into my sim-self's (who is long dead) household. The game kind of 'closes' on me. I get him almost transferred but then when I go and check the checkmark button in the transfer the game closes on me.It happens both w and w/o Mods. Also it doesn't matter if I do it from the boy's house into my main house or into my household from my house Any ideas why this is happening?


PS I tried repairing the game didn't work.

do you have any CC in that particular saved game? I had that happen to me and it was due to bad CC that I had. I ended up having to start a whole new game and saving it and getting rid of the CC I had. After that I had no problem at all.

The only 3rd-party content I had was two mods and I took them out and I still have issues

that's exactly what happened to me. Even after I took them out, the game was still crashing on me. Try making a new one just to see if the new one works.

That's it I don't WANT to make a new game-I playing a legacy. I spent too much time and effort on this current game. How do I transfer graves-when I transfer families?

Trust me, I know how frustrating that is. I'm not sure about the graves. Maybe put them in one of the person's inventories and then manage households to add that person to the other family, place the grave at the new house? Not sure if that made sense or not lol. I just woke up lol.

It worked but now I have a different problem two of my sim grandchildren are greyed out but it says they are at home but they aren't.
