Need relationship help!!

Ok so I went to play in another household for a while and when I came back to my other household, my married sims had both cheated on each other and their romance bars were practically non-existent. I was able to repair their relationship of course, but now it says they're "acquaintances", "spouses", "lovers", "soulmates", "best friends" and "just good friends". like that totally doesn't make any sense!! and when you mouse over their relationship bars when they're having a conversation it says "just acquaintances". I was wondering if there's a way to get rid of this?!
