Mailbox Issue

    When I click on the mailbox, and tell my sim to get the mail, I can see him grabbing letters and gift boxes, but I get no notification that anyone sent him anything. I look in his inventory and the household inventory and still nothing. This happens every time. What is going on?

    I never really pay attention to my sims actually getting the mail, for all I know they reach out and get items without actually receiving items every time.

    Wow that is weird. Usually you get a notification what it is when a sim receives something. You might have bad CC or mods.

    The thing is, I don't run any CC or mods at all. So would this tool still help me locate the issue?

    Oh sorry. Wow I think it is the game acting stupid then.

    That is a damn shame. It should be more stable than that.

    I don't even want to attempt contacting EA on the issue...based on what I have experienced in the past. To Google I go!

    It's notoriously horrid. They often can't help you, think it's a bug, virus or software problem on your end and when you prove to them it's something THEY did wrong or need to fix, they direct you to call another branch of their customer support team.

    Well, every single person I talked to had an Indian name. So, I think step 1 took me straight to India.

    That sucks, I'm trying to get my credits all in a row I just need to contact my old school, but I can't even talk to a real person I can't even find an email. (I went to school online.) I was at least able to leave a message to an answering machine if they don't get back I'll have to drive down to their base or whatever.

    Have you tried asking in the official TS3 forum? A lot of great people there who knows a lot about these things :) It usually takes people a couple of days to answer, but it's usually worth the wait lol :p

    I always try to Google my issues first. Most of the time I come across forums with a bunch of people just guessing what could be wrong and not finding a solution. I get so excited when someone actually has an answer when I search.

    I've been lucky with computer problems I have just asked my boyfriend, unfortunately no longer an option now my TS3 game crashes everytime I load all the way through to play.

    All my customer service experiences have been great and I have never had a person from India contact me. I guess it depends on where you live because I live in the US and all the customer service people who have contacted me are from the US and they were very helpful. They even gave me free games or discount codes when they could not fix my issues.

    Also, I have never had a problem with the people on EA Answers HQ being rude. I don't know if you use EA Answers HQ but if you did, then you need to understand that these people are volunteers who are regular players like you and me. You do have the right to report them if you feel they are being rude.
