Demo Problems

Hey Guys, could you please help me? I have some strange demo-problems! In the beginning my demo worked perfectly, even on ultra settings. But now, after a minute or ten, the music blurs and my computer falls out. I even deleted all my sims 3, I scanned my computer with AVG but I have still no solution!!! Please guys, I pre-ordered ts4, I have to know what I have to do .

Maybe you should set setting to medium?

Do you have any other programs running while on it ? is it on fullscreen or windowed?

It's windowed and I don't have other programs running mostly :s

Leave it on fullscreen that shouldn't be too hard on your pc

It doesn't help . It's so weird though, It worked perfectly in the beginning. I even reinstalled the demo, but it didn't help.

I don't really agree with the game working better in fullscreen...all games i use i play in window screen...still working fine when i am exporting..trust me exporting can make things lag! I'm using a laptop & the system is Win 7

What Make & Model is your computer? Also what is your operating system? its the tiny details that help

It's a Medion Akoya Laptop Windows 7 Home Premium. It's like 4 years old or something...

Since it's a laptop, is it getting too hot while you are playing the demo? That would definitely cause problems.

Oh Maybe, I'll try to use my thingy for under my laptop more. I forget it a lot!

Oh heck, always remember to give your laptop fan some air, i'm lucky enough to have the fan on the very side of the system..i don't need to worry about covering anything up.

Also do you have laptop mode checked? I feel that should help cause it goes to the right settings for a laptop

PCs and laptops on the verge of over-heating shut down like that to prevent damage to its components. Also, remember that most laptops are for casual use and unless your yours is geared up for gaming, I wouldn't push it too hard with Ultra settings...

If you're going to rely on your ol' lappy, because you don't or can't afford a decent gaming rig, at least make sure you take good care of it and be reasonable with the kind of use you give it. Don't drive a Mini expecting it to give out the same performance as Lamborghini!

Excuse me? I CAN afford a gaming rig, but I won't buy a new computer just for ts4 . Normally I always put my laptopthing under my laptop but I got a new room recently where I lay in the couch with my laptop and I forgot to use it. I just tought 'why not try?' with the ultra settings. I mean, you would also hope they would work? This game is so beautiful and I really wanted to see the best of it.
