No option to hack work performance???

I'm hoping someone can help, I've gone to the computer to try and hack my sims work performance, but the option isn't there. He's level 10 programming, focused, and the computer has all the upgrades. I have no mods on my game. I'm not 100% sure it was ever there for him as it's the first time I've wanted to do it with this sim, but it has been an option for other sims with the programming skill. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you fix it? or is it broken at the moment?

I have the EXACT same problem...and always have, since I got the game.
I've looked for info in the past, but you've inspired me to search deeper.

Best I can assume is it may have something to do with mods or CC but I don't recall being able to do it even before I installed any stuff.
I should remove my cc and mods, reboot/repair and see what happens.... but I don't wanna.

Best idea I have for now (until a real solution is available) is give your sim the SELF ASSURED trait, and they can frequently call work for a raise which also raises their work performance.

I haven't got any mods installed, and I've already tried doing a game repair, so it's neither of those things. The other thing I've found that helps improve work performance is make connections (or something like that) under the social tab of your computer. I'll try the ringing for a raise as well.
