Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat

EA had officially announced a new "Game pack" in January! Here is what has been officially announced:

• There is a new world called Granite Falls.
• There are new collectibles including plants and insects.
• New activities including Campfires and Horseshoes.
• There will be new cooking recipes, and a Herbalism skill. They also stated that you will be able to make remedies with the herbs.

Other Information

• Granite Falls will have a campground area where you can set up camp, or you can rent a cabin. You only bring the supplies you have. Anything you need can be bought at the Ranger Station. There also is a national park area in Granite Falls.You CAN use build mode as well.
• They told Gaming Website Kotaku "There are rumors of a mysterious hermit who lives high up in the mountains, but no one knows quite where".
• They said Outdoor Retreat is a "game pack". It is not an expansion, and a new branch in the Sims series. It will cost $19.99 USD.

I think that all the Sims 4 worlds will look awesome in seasons

I can't wait for this to come out, I think it will be a really cool thing to be able to have your sims go camp out in the forest, as a vacation of sorts with friends and or family. Plus, there can be a ton of cool features they add to this, and I think it will be pretty cool.

It's been said on twitter that Granite Falls is a destination world, so idk if that means you'll be able to live there unless it's like with world adventures

I think that you won't be able to /live/ there, but your Sims will be able to go there on Vacation, and such. It will probably be like a mini World Adventures Pack.

It sounds cool to me. I like that its only $19.99, not $39.99 like usual. Its nice to see that they didn't try to make it overly complicated and charge a full expansion pack price

Well you see, they wanted to make it the price of the Stuff Packs from Sims 3. The Sim Guru said "Stuff Packs < Game Packs < Expansion Packs" so I assume expansion packs will still be that expensive.

It'd be impressive if we got life stages or even life states through game packs, too soon to know if that's what they're ok with doing though

Another World Adventures pack?

Too soon to say. I'm not against destination worlds though, so long as we'd have more than just France, Egypt and China. A few people also wanted to see Ireland, England, Italy and Japan if they ever made an ep like that again (or if they do it via game packs and forget about the tomb thing)

Never said I was against it. I'm interested to see what they do with the new game pack system.

At least it's not Walt Disney theme, Wheelchairs or/and disabilities at all. Yay! New game pack system sound even cooler.
