What Happens to Bad Designs at Maxis?

Some people may wonder what happens at Maxis when a design idea is put forward and is considered to be ‘bad’. Ray Mazza, Creative Director on The Sims 4, has tweeted an image showing exactly what happens!

Spent 30 minutes today analyzing minor differences between potential Sims 4 cover art.

That face though XD I can imagine him thinking "Oh god that's a huge pair of scissors it could probably cut my entire hand off please don't" This seems like a fun place to work at.

I've got to say the only reason why I avoid sims live broadcasts is because Graham always does them. It's just something about his voice...

Award-winning composer Sean Beeson recently uploaded some music he’s written to YouTube and while listening to it, the first 30 seconds (music for an unannounced social MMO) immediately caught my attention. Here, have a listen:

Could the first 30 seconds of this video be for the “Unannounced Sims Project" some EA employees are working on? Or the rumored EA/Zynga online version of The Sims 4 Patrick Kelly talked about?
